Check the document. Check the evidence.

What JobApply Studio checks in a CV, and what it cannot guarantee about an employer’s ATS.

A readable structure is only one part of an application

JobApply Studio exports a single-column text document with ordinary headings and paragraphs. It checks that selected facts are represented in the PDF’s extracted text. That is a file-integrity check, not a test against every employer’s applicant tracking system.

Some systems struggle with images, complex columns or text boxes. Employers also use different formats and selection rules. Greenhouse documents parsing limitations; follow the instructions on the actual application form.

Requirement evidence is separate

Confirm a requirement from the job description, then link experience that supports it. A linked fact is something you selected, not an independent verification of your qualification.

Keywords can describe a real skill more clearly. They cannot supply missing experience. Quantified bullets and a skills section are useful when relevant, but their absence alone does not prove ATS rejection.

Review before sending

There is no universal ATS score, guarantee of passing a filter or promise of a job. Human review remains part of the workflow.

  • Use factual employer names, roles, education, dates and results.
  • Resolve active placeholders and check contact details.
  • Read the file in the requested format and confirm its order.
  • Check location, work authorization and language restrictions at the source.
  • Keep the exact CV copy you sent.
