Choose student or experienced profile mode yourself. Enter experience, projects, education, skills or certifications with the dates and details you know. Add metrics only when they are true. Mark unfinished facts as placeholders so export checks can flag them.
Valid profile fields autosave after 0.5 seconds. Save profile waits for pending writes. New facts and jobs require their own confirmation. Saved means the encrypted storage write completed; an unsaved or conflict warning needs attention.
Check requirements and eligibility
Candidate requirements come from the saved job description and need your confirmation. Link them to your existing facts. Missing evidence is a reason to inspect the requirement, not an instruction to claim a skill you do not have.
Unknown country, work permit, language or timezone restrictions remain unknown. Remote does not automatically mean worldwide. Open the source posting before applying.
Export and sent copies
Choose English or Indonesian document headings independently from the interface language, and A4 or Letter. PDF, DOCX and text exports use the selected facts in their chosen order. PDF text extraction is checked before download. Unsupported PDF characters are identified so you can edit them or use DOCX/text.
Valid CV edits save automatically after 0.5 seconds; Save resume saves immediately. Wait for Saved before closing. Duplicate and Mark as sent wait until the current version is saved, so the recorded application keeps the edited CV.
Review contact information, placeholders and longer documents. Follow the employer’s requested file format. Marking sent makes that saved CV immutable. You can duplicate it when a saved slot is available.
If a restored archive has more than three CVs, it remains readable, exportable and deletable. Editing saved variants resumes at three or fewer; creation needs fewer than three. You can still update your profile and export a basic CV.
Choose optional AI
In Settings, choose Chrome AI or a cloud provider. Chrome AI checks availability only on click and downloads a model only after a separate click. Initial local rewriting supports English source and output; the interface can stay Indonesian.
For cloud AI, enter your own provider key, choose whether to store it encrypted, press Fetch models and select a model. A catalog entry is not a promise of structured-output compatibility. Set spending limits at your provider; JobApply Studio cannot set your account limit.
In the editor, choose at most six facts and optionally the job description. Review the exact input, approve that operation, then check every proposed claim before applying it. Refused or unsupported requests do not trigger a different paid model or cloud fallback.
Backups, conflicts and lost passphrases
Download an encrypted backup from Settings. It contains your private profile, jobs, CVs and tracker, but no AI keys. Keep the passphrase separately. A plaintext data export is also available only after a disclosure; protect that file yourself.
Restore shows a validated preview before replacing the vault. Existing saved AI keys need the current vault unlocked or its current passphrase, unless you explicitly choose to reset those keys.
Two open pages can conflict. Download the encrypted draft before explicitly discarding it and loading the saved version. A failed manual lock keeps the draft; auto-lock may offer encrypted recovery. A volatile recovery can disappear when the page closes.
WD DIGI has no copy of your passphrase or encrypted vault and cannot recover a lost passphrase. Back up before clearing browser data, uninstalling or replacing the vault.
