Free beta · version 0.1.0

Check your browser, AI mode and source

Desktop Chrome compatibility, local AI requirements, provider limits and supported job-source behavior.

Core extension

Desktop Chrome 140+ is the target. The side panel and workspace use local storage, bundled code and fonts. Incognito is not supported. The core CV editor and exports work offline after installation; public feeds and cloud AI need network access.

English and Indonesian interfaces and document headings are available independently. Your own prose is not automatically translated when you change interface language. Screen readers, keyboard, reduced motion/transparency and narrow layout are part of release checks; check the release notes for limitations.

Chrome AI local beta

Prompt API requires Chrome 138+ and compatible desktop hardware. Chrome requires 22 GB free space on its profile volume and either GPU VRAM strictly above 4 GB, or at least 16 GB RAM and four CPU cores. The 22 GB figure is not the model download size. Initial download needs a suitable unmetered connection.

JobApply Studio checks actual LanguageModel availability. The local rewrite accepts English source and English output only in this beta, while the UI can be Indonesian. A recent Chrome version alone does not prove that a model is available. No flags, unsupported language workaround or automatic cloud transfer is required to use the ordinary CV features.

Chrome controls model updates and can remove its model when device requirements cease to be met. The extension does not provide a catalog of Nano versions or an exact model-download size.

Cloud models and feeds

OpenRouter, Gemini, OpenAI and Groq offer their own model catalogs. Fetch models and choose explicitly. Not every returned model supports the required JSON output, language or routing; unsupported responses are rejected rather than accepted as a CV.

Jobicy and Himalayas supply limited optional public feeds with attribution and local filtering. JobStreet, Glints and Cake open as portal links. There is no automatic reading of those job-board tabs in this beta.

Generated documents use bundled Noto Sans for PDF and ordinary Arial paragraphs for DOCX. Installed word processors may paginate differently. Export and inspect the format the employer asks for.

Attribution

The distribution includes third-party notices for React, WXT, Zod, idb, parse5, pdf-lib, fontkit, docx, PDF.js, Roboto Flex and Noto Sans. Workflow ideas were adapted from WHOISABHISHEKADHIKARI’s cv-generator playbook; implementation is original and no entire playbook was copied.
